Alvise Simondetti - President
Arup - Virtual Design Global Leader - United Kingdom
Alvise Simondetti has been formally educated in architecture, town planning, conservation and computation. He is an individual who believes that successful design cannot be separated from tools. He is a graduate of Turin Polytechnic, a Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. William J. Mitchell.
In 1997 he was Assistant Professor of the School of Design, Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Professor John Frazer. In 2000, Alvise join the global design powerhouse Arup in the Research and Development team under the direction of Dr. Chris Luebkeman. He is an Associate Director in the Foresight, Innovation + Incubation team, leads the global virtual design community within the firm (Virtual Design Network) and chairs the board level group setup to transition to modelling (BEM taskforce). Alvise is responsible for the business development of Realtime Synthetic Environments. Alvise is registered architect in Milan. |

Diplômé de l’Ecole Spéciale d’Architecture de Paris et en Architecture d’Intérieur de l’Ecole CAMONDO de Paris.
Il s’est vu confier la réalisation de la librairie pochothèque "Flammarion" à l’intérieur du Centre Pompidou (Paris) et a été le premier dessinateur projeteur de Philippe STARCK avec lequel il a dessiné le projet de la première brasserie Costes (Place des Innocents – Paris).
En 1995, réalisation de 2 grands projets à Monaco : Le Grimaldi Forum et l’aménagement du Vallon Sainte Dévote (Gare ferroviaire).
Le savoir-faire de l’Agence ARCH Monaco permet à Fred Genin de s’exporter, tant en France (Centre d’Activités des Loueurs du Terminal 2 - Aéroport Nice Côte d’Azur et Palais Orion - Cannes), qu’au Japon (immeubles d’habitations à Osaka).

Pascal Vallet

Pascal Vallet has run his own business as an architect for 20 years In Normandy. He left France to live in Canada for five 5 years from 2002 to 2007. There he developed new experience in graphic computer design for industrial and architectural projects.
Back to Paris, he created Modwell SAS which is producing marketing and technical movies, architectural and design projects 3D animations walkthroughs accompaning clients throughout their projects from conception to their representation. Modwell’s expertise offers virtual images or movies with striking realism of marketing materials, media, presentations or virtual tours.

Eric Braux

Mr. Braux, run with success Barco France, with a team operating across all the markets for which Barco portfolio applies with a specific focus to key market areas as : Digital Cinema, Medical Imaging, Defense, Simulation, Virtual Reality, Digital Signage, Entertainment and Traffic & Surveillance.
In addition to his duties, he is involved in multiple advanced 3D visualizations projects with Industrial, research, museums and planetarium partners. He contributes to new virtual reality specifications mainly for automotive, oil & gas, entertainment and VR laboratories.
He is also facilitating close relationships with companies developing image generators, visualization and collaborative software, for a seamless integration of advanced immersive and collaborative display systems.
Before Eric Braux held a senior management position in SGI (Silicon Graphics) in Europe and was previously the technical and R&D Director for Intergraph in France. He is graduated from ESME SUDRIA engineering school, in mechanics and electronics.

Pascal Peyronnet
TerraDynamica Project - Thales - France
Pascal Peyronnet began his career as Image Generator software developer in 1982 at Thales (former Thomson-CSF Simulators Division).
Then he became manager of the group which produced the tools and databases for Synthetic Image Generator and Computer Generated Forces for simulation purpose.
Becoming Advanced Studies Project Manager he contributed to several National and European Defence Research projects (EUCLID).
In september 2006 he has taken in charge the management of the TerraNumerica project within Cap Digital Competitiveness Cluster for Digital Content Creation and Knowledge Management, addressing Territories & Resources digitalisation, 3D modelling, and multimedia valorisation. In December 2009, he has taken in charge the management of the TerraDynamica project following the previous project, addressing mostly the pedestrians, crowd, vehicles, traffic animation within a dense urban environment.

Jacynthe Pouliot
Professor at the Geomatics Department at Laval University - Quebec, Canada
Jacynthe Pouliot is a full professor at the Geomatics Department at Laval University, Quebec, Canada since 2001. She has a university background in Geomatics from Laval University and a Ph.D. specialization in GIS (geographic information system) from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. She is a member since 1988 of the Professional association of the Quebec land surveyors and researcher at the Centre of Research in Geomatics and the network of excellence in Geomatics –GEOIDE.
The research activities of Mrs Pouliot are mainly oriented towards the development of GIS systems, 3D geometric modeling and geospatial data integration. She is interested in the quantification of the value added when using 3D geospatial data, no matter is the application. She is currently performing several 3D modeling activities in cadastral system, augmented reality games, geology and archaeology. She is also member of the working group on 3D-Cadastres, sponsored by the International Federation of Surveyors and the committee for supervising the 3D Ethics Charter.

Eric Anselin - President
Managing Director - Luxanimation S.A. - Luxembourg
Eric was appointed Managing Director of Luxanimation in September 2008. His company is based in Luxembourg where they employ about 60 people. They are specialized in the production of 2D and 3D animation TV series and feature films. Most recently, they have been involved in the production of Nine (3D film), Nelly&Ceaser (3D TV series), Iron Man
(3D TV series), The Little Nick (3D TV series), Babar (3D TV series) and Titeuf (2D feature film).
In 2010, they set up the department LUXATELIER that is focused on the development of audiovisual productions based on original books. They are also working on projects involving the 3D stereoscopic technology.
Before that, Eric got a MBA from EDHEC (Lille) and occupied various management positions, especially at RTL Group in Luxembourg, Sommer-Allibert in Germany and Total Chemicals in France and Japan.
He is been living in Luxembourg for 15 years and a got the double French-Luxembourgisch citizenship.

Perrine Gauthier
Associate Producer, TeamTO - Creative Producer, Thuristar - France / Belgium
Film production graduate from New York Institute of Technology in 2005, Perrine Gauthier became the assistant of producer Ben Barenholtz (REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, BARTON FINK, MILLER’S CROSSING, etc.) while also writing, directing and self-producing a few live-action shorts ‘after hours’.
In 2006, she entered the animation world at distribution company Branscome International, working with artists such as Bill Plympton.
Back in France, Perrine was hired in 2007 by independent animation studio TeamTO, where she has since been working in close collaboration with producer Corinne Kouper on the development, financing, production and promotion of six TV series and a feature-film.
Perrine Gauthier is also a partner and the Creative Producer of THURISTAR, a small indie production company developing and producing animation short films ‘after hours’.

Frédéric Thonet

In September 2007, Frédéric Thonet was named CGI Operations Director, responsible for the development of the company’s Film growth strategy and the establishment of the pipeline and production tools.
Frédéric has over 18 years of experience in production and post production of various media such as animation, television, commercials and feature films. Most recently he was Head of Productions at Duran Duboi, a renowned French Studio specialized in VFX and CG animation.
